Violet Langsner

so, since this is a family update site, i'd thought i'd post about our recent trip to montreal to visit Aunt Violet (Langsner). For those who don't know - she is the wife of the late Sam Langsner who was Groise Zaide (Yitzchok Lanxner)'s brother. Anyway, she is not well and Menachem and I along with my parents went to visit her to see how she's doing. She is remarkable. She just recently underwent both chemotherapy and raidation and yet she is as strong as ever. For a woman of her age it is an inspiration to see how determined she is to get better and to not let anything get in the way of her living life as vibrantly as she always did. I only hope that at her age i have her strength of mind and character.

How much could you earn of a one way trip? UPDATED!!!

here we go!!!
The family starts joining in, post anything you want photos videos or just comments or interesting story's which just happened with you

I just flew in to new york to learn in 770
I had a very interesting trip: I had an open ticket to fly with united from Belgium to JFK, and when i wanted to book a date they told me that my ticket is not valid, to make the story short after 3 hours arguing on the phone with united they eventually agreed to give the ticket for 200 dollars change fee, and they gave me a 125 $ certificate as an apology for wasting three hours of my time.

So my flight was from bru to Washington and from Washington to JFK, so when I arrived at Washington I volunteered myself to give my seat and take the next flight which departs at 5:50 pm instead of the original flight which departed at 4:43 pm.
And they compensate me with a free ticket in the entire u.s.a. valid for one year. OK, I'm off course very happy for one hour waiting i got a free ticket. When I approached at the desk to get my boarding pass after the original flight left, they told me that there is no available seat for the flight departing 5:50.

And the next available flight would be at 10:00 pm. I had no choice, I needed to accept it. Then I realized after klotsing a few hours at the v.i.p. lounge that my flight that is suppose to leave at 10 pm has a delay and is leaving at 11:34 pm. I was so tired, I thought I'm exploding, they promised me to give me an extra compensation.

I called them up today and they added a 150$ voucher, so far for an one way trip, I got 275$ + a ticket in the u.s.a (ave. worth of 300-400$), so a total of 575-675$ and plus I didn't lose my ticket

NOT BAD!!!
